JFI 1st Tuesday Colloquium - January-June 2008

This website will be updated as information becomes available.

The Colloquia are held the first Tuesday of each month during the academic year at the Gordon Center For Integrative Science (GCIS) in W301/W303, 929 E. 57th St. unless indicated otherwise.
The Colloquium is the flagship event for the JFI and aims to attract a broad audience, appropriate to the interdisciplinary nature of our Institute. Speakers are distinguished authorities in their fields. They are charged to give an overview of the area, discuss the impact of research going on, and provide a perspective of where it is headed. This sets the First Tuesday Colloquium apart from our more specialized JFI weekly seminars.
Tea is served at 3:45 during open discussion before the start of the talk. Persons with disabilities may request assistance in advance from Brenda Thomas: bthomas@uchicago.edu or 773-702-7156. The Colloquium Chair can be reached via email.
