Leo Silbert completted a post-doc at Sandia National Labs, New Mexico,
where he used computer simulations to study the statics and dynamics of granular
materials. He retains a strong interest for granular matter. He joins Leo
Kadanoff and Sid Nagel's group, in collaboration with Andrea Liu at UCLA,
to work on jamming and characterization of the jamming transition.
