Course grades

You see here your your midterm grade, your total homework score and your final grade. Then follows your midterm percentage grade and your midterm rank, followed by the percentage and rank for homework and final exam. (Naturally, Max Achiever ranked first on everything.) Next comes a score, a weighted average of the percentage grades. The weight for the homework was 1; that of the midterm was .4 and that of the final was .8. The last column is the letter grade. The list is arranged by score. About 3 letter grades were adjusted upward a notch because they performed much better on homework or final than the average indicates. This amounts to a small extra weighting for the best components of your score.
