Late lab report policy
>Dear Professor Witten,
>I had a lab report due today. Unfortunately, ... I understand if you
>need to take points off for lateness, but I would like to receive some
>credit for it rather than a zero.
Many students will have various reasons for being late
throughout the term. Occasional lateness is hard to avoid. We'll take away
some credit for this one-day late report, but if this is the only one, it won't be
serious. If you see that you will be late, email your TA telling him when your report will be in. Best, TW
Lab scheduling*
Below is a list of labs and people. The first lab of the term has been scheduled, taking into account the preferences you indicated. Your first lab is the lab with a 1 next to your name. Your lab partner is the other person in your lab section who also has a 1 for that lab

* notes
Labs were scheduled based primarily on preference sheets you filled out at the beginning of the quarter. Sometimes this resulted in the same lab partner on two experiments. I tried to give everyone at least one helium experiment.
