About

Brandon AndersonI am a postdoctoral scholar at the University of Chicago under Kathy Levin. My research covers a variety of topics in many-body physics of condensed matter and cold atom systems. Recently I have focused on fundamental many-body theory superfluids and superconductors, especially as related to fluctuation effects and response. I am also interested in topics such as quantum engineering, synthetic gauge fields, and topological physics in ultracold gases. For more information, check out my publications or my work as covered by the press.

Before coming to Chicago, I was a postdoc at the Joint Quantum Institute under Charles Clark. I received my PhD from the University of Maryland working with Victor Galitski.
