Suggestions for housing in Chile

Some of you already have arrival dates. You might be making housing plans by now. Here's some useful information. There are several hostels in Santiago, some possibilities are:

I think its better to make a reservation for a week, or a few days, and you can either stay or move to another one depending how it works out, if you like it, etc. You can start looking for apartments or rooms at

But again, its better to deal with these people once you're here (don't pay any fee in advance!).
